We had a good time on our first camping trip of the year. We checked out Lake Metigoshe State Park for the first time. We were very glad to have reserved a cabin because day one was rainy and cold, it was a good day to stay in and relax. The next day we were off exploring the park. the boys did the "becoming a Dakota explorer" class and earned a certificate and flashlight. We checked out one of the many hiking trails and decided the boys will defiantly like backpacking in a few years.
Back at our cabin we enjoyed throwing sticks in the lake, falling in the lake, bothering the beaver, playing horseshoes and t ball, and of course making smores!
