June, and the 4th of July

We had a busy June! The boys had a blast making Pats cake this year.  Eating the ice cream cake was even more fun for them :)  We celebrated early in the week since Pat had a guys weekend camping over his birthday.  The boys and mom decided that we might as well go to Grand Forks for that weekend and enjoy his birthday party for him!!  Don't worry, we told him all about it, and even suggested that he attend next year ;)   The 4th of July was packed full of fun too.  We started the day with the zoo walk/run in which the boys raced and then walked with us.  After seeing the zoo grounds we can hardly wait until it is fixed up and the animals are back.  The late afternoon into the night was spent at the air show and fireworks.  It was the first year that we took the boys and it was a hit!  By far, the favorite display of the night was the plane launching fireworks.  Nathan decided the fireworks were ok, pretty but to loud.
